Naiomi Badri, Founder
Naiomi has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from McGill University and has worked in non-profit fundraising for over a decade.
Her work focuses on developing data-informed fundraising strategies and building the tools, recourse and programs that help nonprofit organizations meet their goals.
She was inspired to start CWHEN upon hearing countless stories from women online about feeling dismissed, unheard or overlooked in medical settings.
Charlotte Breier, Founding Director
Charlotte has been working in the non profit industry since 2016 - in many different roles. Starting on the ground, fundraising for amazing charities to now running teams that specialize in campaign management.
She’s taken on roles in data analytics, content creation, and fundraising strategies to help non profit organizations raise funds for their initiatives. Charlotte’s specialty is monthly acquisitions and major gift files. She’s inspired every day by people’s generosity and the drive to help others!
Kamilah Mohammad, Founding Director
Kamilah is a policy analyst within the Government of Canada, specializing in intergovernmental relations within the emergency management space. With an MA in Public Policy and Public Administration from Concordia University, her expertise lies in policy research and design, legislative tracking, and project management.
She is committed to the pursuit of actionable governance grounded in evidence-based decision making and inclusivity of all perspectives.
Bryna Kuhnreich, Board Director
With 20+ years of leadership in marketing, product innovation, and E-commerce, Bryna brings extensive experience in scaling consumer brands, brand storytelling, brand activations, driving multi-channel growth, and modernizing digital operations. She specializes in translating consumer insights into high-impact product roadmaps and strategic expansion across major retail and marketplace platforms.
She eagerly contributes her background in commercialization, brand strategy, and process optimization to support the mission, scale the reach, and maximize real-world impacts for women’s health.
Wynne de Jong RN MN, Board Director
Wynne is a registered nurse and senior healthcare executive whose career spans acute care, home and community care, mental health, rehabilitation and complex continuing care, and long‐term care.
She is recognized for building consensus among multidisciplinary teams and for driving strategies that elevate diversity and equity, health‐care quality, competency‐based professional practice and education, operational leadership excellence, and interprofessional collaboration.
Wynne currently serves as a Clinician Consultant with LHH Knightsbridge, helping to lead high‐impact projects and mission‐critical interim healthcare leadership roles. She is also a Review Editor for Healthcare Quarterly - Longwoods Publishing and works as a Surveyor with Accreditation Canada.
She brings to CWHEN her transformational system level knowledge and commitment to advancing quality improvement, population health, just safety cultures, and people centred care.
Celia Berezowski, Volunteer Social Media Coordinator
Dr. Leah Burkosvky, Board Director
Dr. Burkovsky is a family physician practicing in Toronto, Ontario. Through her practice, she provides women of all ages with compassionate, evidence-based care. Though conditions like PMOS, endometriosis and perimenopause being more widely acknowledged, Dr. Burkovsky wants to shed light on the need for more research and work to be done for women to receive proper care for their medical needs.
She brings her perspective as a family physician to help support women seeking care and physicians providing their care as medicine continues to evolve and progress faster than ever.
Celia has been working in the nonprofit and fundraising industry since 2023, building her experience from fundraising and donor engagement to team leadership and campaign development. She currently works as a Team Leader, supporting fundraising teams and developing campaign strategies.
Celia is also a freelance artist specializing in acrylic painting. Creativity has always been an important part of her life, from creating art to developing ideas and bringing them to life.
She brings that same creativity, along with her experience in team leadership and fundraising, to CWHEN to help expand its reach and connect more people with its mission around women’s healthcare, education and advocacy.
